Because I lost my ability to ignore all those cables I started thinking about a solution to that problem. A few days before I saw an interesting picture at Pinterest that showed a clean solution for a modem/router mounts in a cupboard:
This was the inspiration for my solution to get a clean look with my flat TV. The idea was to use a similar solution mounted at the back of the TV. To mount it on the back I thought it might be a good solution to use the already existing mount options for the VESA mount.
